Water polo: PLEBISCITO PADOVA wins the ITALIAN CUP

On the water polo front, on March 7, PLEBISCITO PADOVA won the ITALIAN CUP, in the final four in Messina, for the first time in its history. The girls dominated the game, defeating Messina 12-6 (9-2 at half-time). CONGRATULATIONS, GIRLS!!!
The girls then played the Final Four of the Len Champions League (the premier European water polo club competition) at the weekend of April 10-11, winning the semifinal and playing for the title with their traditional opponents, the Imperia team. The hard-fought final was tightly won by Imperia (the final score was 9-8). Thus the runner-up position in Europe has bittersweet taste for Plebiscito Padova. LET US CONGRATULATE THE GIRLS AND WISH THEM GOOD LUCK FOR THE END OF THE SEASON!!!
